Everyone needs inspiration, but as writers, we need more than most. We need the inspiration and encouragement to keep ourselves motivated and constantly writing. Without it, we won’t produce anything worthwhile and might actually be forced to get a life (and for some of us, an actual job).
Here are a few quotes I’ve gathered throughout the years, that always inspire me to keep writing whenever I feel down and out.
Enjoy, and put them to good use!

Writers should never try to outguess the marketplace in search of a salable idea; the simple truth is that all good books will eventually find a publisher if the writer tries hard enough, and a central secret to writing a good book is to write on that people like you will enjoy.” – Richard North Patterson
7 – “Only write from your own passion, your own truth. That’s the only thing you really know about, and anything else leads you away from the pulse.” – Marianne Williamson
